Bootcamps are intensive short period training which are often used to make a big movement in an issue. Bootcamps may have a number of workshops usually active/participatory sessions and training which follow a broader range of formats.
The Annual Climate Change Bootcamps bring together youths from different professionals and backgrounds, And it’s where further training is incorporated with field based learning activities in areas within Uganda so as to give an idea of how global issues related to climate change are reflected in the local environment (e.g. with deforestation, and physical impacts). This is away of building capacity of Youths first in order to understand fundamental issues related to climate change such that they can spearhead their fellow youths and communities in climate change Action.
